Robab Khosravi, BA (University of Tehran), MA (Shiraz University), PhD (Keele University, United Kingdom). She is currently Associate Professor of English Literature at University of Zanjan, Iran. Her main research interests are Modernism, literary genres, utopianism, gothic romanticism, and aspects of postmodern thought and culture. She teaches various courses in Critical Theory, 19th and 20th Century Novel, English poetry, and Classical & Renaissance drama. For many years, she has also taught Research Writing as well as Culture & Identity to MA students of TEFL and has published in these fields. In 2020, she won the faculty's Annual Award for Excellence in Teaching. She is the author of “Blurring Boundaries and a Generic Matrix in Jane Eyre’s ‘Political Uncon­scious’” in Brontë Studies. Her “Utopian Imagination in Ancient Iran: The Nostalgia of a Lost Paradise” appeared in Utopian Studies in 2021. Currently she is working on a project on Utopianism and Shi'a Eschatology.
